Prof. Pauline M. Rudd is the NIBRT Professor of Glycobiology at University College, Dublin. She heads the Dublin-Oxford Glycobiology Laboratory Research Group at the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training in Ireland. The group has developed a platform technology for high throughput, detailed, quantitative glycan analysis. The current applied programme is focused towards the needs of the Biopharmaceutical Industry and the research programme is targeted towards identifying and testing robust glycosylated disease biomarkers, particularly for cancer and rheumatoid arthritis.
